The Type 2093 is a variable depth sonar designed for mine search and classification integrated on mine countermeasure vessels (MCMVs) such as Royal Navy's Sandown-class and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Huon-class minehunters.

Thales has launched an upgrade to its unique variable depth minehunting sonar with wideband technology, to improve operational performance, operability and support.
